PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the feeling of click in opening operation and closing operation while realizing the miniaturization of a lens barrier device and making the diameter thereof smaller. SOLUTION: The lens barrier device is equipped with a lens barrier 30 comprising a plurality of blades freely moving on a plane nearly perpendicular to the optical axis direction of a lens, and an interlocking ring 20 supported turnably with respect to a base 10 and manually opening/closing the lens barrier 30, and adopts a leaf spring 50 fixed on the base 10, having a projection 52a at a free end and bent in an optical axis direction L and two hollows 21e and 21f formed on the back of the ring 20 and receiving the projection 52a at the opening position and the closing position as a click mechanism holding the lens barrier 30 at the opening position or the closing position.
