PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a magnetic recording medium which can increase magnetic anisotropy of magnetic nanoparticles without reduction of regulating temperature by adding a third element i.e., orientation property along a vertical direction to a substrate surface is increased in a vertical magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: Heat treatment is conducted for controlling in the condition prior to forming a film of magnetic nanoparticles on a magnetic disk substrate and the film forming on the substrate is conducted with resin while a particulate condition is secured. During the above operation, magnetic field is applied until the resin is hardened so that the magnetization direction of the magnetic nanoparticles is aligned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
