The method involves determining the effect of changes of a network. The signal strength of a radio signal linked to propagation losses is computed and further network parameters if necessary computed. The actual propagation losses are determined at several measuring points and on their basis propagation losses are computed for a transmitting antenna. An independent claim is included for a matrix or table with the propagation losses of a radio signal of a transmitting antenna data representing different measuring points.
