<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for measuring and determining a deviation between a measuring reference location and a measured location using a jig such as a laser pointer, a horizon indicator, a perpendicular indicator and eliminating a necessity for setting a measuring environment for implementing steric measurement such as an identification of the designated measured location, and a mouse to which the method is applied. <P>SOLUTION: In the measuring method and the mouse, an operation and measuring part is provided with an azimuth sensor comprising a colored magnetic sphere held in a transparent liquid, a light irradiating part for irradiating the colored magnetic sphere with a light and three or more light sensing parts for monitoring the colored magnetic sphere in at least three directions, and/or a tilt sensor comprising a colored nonmagnetic sphere held in the transparent liquid and eccentrically having a plummet, the light irradiating part for irradiating the colored nonmagnetic sphere with the light and three or more light sensing parts for monitoring the colored nonmagnetic sphere in at least three directions, a calculating part is constituted and calculates outputs from the azimuth sensor and the tilt sensor when the operation and measuring part is operated and moved, and a system for sensing a movement of the operation and measuring part is corrected based on direction information and tilt information acquired by analyzing the outputs in the calculating part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
