<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt apparatus having a pretensioner, which seat belt apparatus can improve the appearance of a boot arranged portion, and also can improve the assemblability of a boot, durability, and productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt apparatus 1 has the configuration such that one end of a webbing 3 drawn out from a retractor is connected to a pretensioner 4, which is attached to a car body side, via a wire rope 6, and the wire rope 6 is covered by a cylindrical boot 7. An overlapped portion 8 is formed by folding back the lower end 7a of the boot 7 toward the inside.
