PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in a connector having a lock arm locking a lock part of a mate connector and a release operating part cam-engaging with the lock arm by receiving external force from a prescribed direction and releasing lock with the lock part of the mate connector. SOLUTION: A lock arm 211 has a lock part 2111 to lock with a lock part 312 of a mate connector 300, a cam engaging part 2113 with which a release operating part 212 cam-engages; and an operating part 2112 releasing lock of the lock arm 221 with the lock part 312 of the connector 300 by receiving external force from a different direction from the prescribed direction in a non-operating state of the operating part 212 and exposed outward in a state that a connector 200 is engaged with the connector 300.
