PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission display device allowing a high-voltage application type field emission display device to be manufactured by a simple process, and capable of fundamentally keeping a vacuum characteristic and a conduction characteristic over a long time. SOLUTION: This field emission display device has: a first substrate having an image display region on a substrate surface; and a second substrate disposed oppositely to the first substrate and composed by forming an electron emission part and an electron control part for controlling electrons emitted from the electron emission part on a substrate surface; and is characterized in that a high-voltage terminal for supplying a high voltage to the image display region is embedded in a spacer between the first and second substrates, and led out.
