PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the upper opening part of the main body of a rice cooker hygienic and easily maintainable and, further, to give clean feeling and high class feeling to the commodity to heighten its commercial value, and to simplify the constitution of the rice cooker main body to prevent the upper opening part from causing cracks by difference of thermal expansion between the upper face opening part and the main body cover, in the rice cooker in which a pot is detachably supported in the main body. SOLUTION: A main body cover 10 is arranged on the upper face opening part 3 of the main body 1 of this rice cooker in which the pot 5 is detachably supported. The end part 11 of the inner peripheral part and the end part 13 of the outer periphery part of the main body cover 10 are integrally formed.
