PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing float enabling easy and quick change of the type of a tackle by an angler to instantaneously respond with the change of the state of the sea. SOLUTION: The fishing float 20 has a main body 21 and a separated member 22. The separated member 22 is detachably attached to the main body 21 through a holding mechanism 30. The holding mechanism 30 is provided with a holding rod 33 and the separated member 22 is screwed to the rod. The main body 21 has a through-hole 25 and the specific gravity of the body is set to≥1.035. The separated member 22 has a through-hole 28 and the specific gravity of the member is set to≤1.035.
