An electronic device has a main body (12) with an electronic component (20) and has a cover (14) pivotally installed on the main body and having an liquid crystal display panel (36). The electronic component of the main body is cooled by a fan (22). The liquid crystal display panel of the cover is illuminated by a discharge tube (38) and a reflector (40). An air inlet (44) of the cover is provided opposite an air outlet (30) of the main body. The discharge tube is cooled by an airflow generated by the fan for cooling the electronic component of the main body. Cooling the discharge tube keeps its life longer. |
