METHOD OF PROCESSING PARALLEL RESISTANCE ELECTRICAL HEATING CABLE

A method of processing a parallel resistance heating cable is described. The cable comprises a heating element connected between two longitudinally extending conductors. The method comprises applying a current along at least one of the conductors, such that the surface temperature of the conductor is raised by ohmic heating to substantially the thermal transition point that allows plastic flow of the heating element. This step is for improving the bond between the conductors and the heating element.
