The invention relates to the transport facilities, in particular to the vehicle bumper. The vehicle bumper contains a bearing element and an energy absorbing element fixed onto the first one. The energy absorbing element is made in the form of a hermetic chamber of elastic material, filled up with gas under pressure and provided with an inlet valve and one or several safety discharge valves. The safety discharge valves have different operation threshold. The hermetic chamber contains a vertical partition of elastic material, dividing it into two hermetic chambers, equipped with inlet and safety discharge valves.
