<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity management system enhanced in efficiency of commodity management by performing communication only with a desired electronic tag. <P>SOLUTION: A first RFID tag 1 attached to a commodity 2 in a package 4 and a second RFID tag 3 attached to the package 4 are set so that the respective polarization planes of receivable radio waves are mutually differed by about 90°. Accordingly, the radio wave to be outputted by a reader/writer 7 is switched between a radio wave having the polarization plane receivable by the first RFID tag of the commodity 2 packaged in the package 4 and a radio wave having the polarization plane receivable by the second RFID tag 3 of the package 4, whereby the RFID tag ID information of which is read can be selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
