PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly corrosion-resistant hot-dip plating steel sheet which has further improved corrosion resistance having initial corrosion resistance at a cut end face in addition to corrosion resistance on a flat part, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The highly corrosion-resistant hot-dip plating steel sheet has such a galvanized alloy layer on the surface of a steel sheet as to comprise, by mass%, 0.05-3% Mg, 0.1-3% Al, 0.01-0.5% Si and the balance Zn with unavoidable impurities. The galvanized alloy layer has Mg<SB>2</SB>Si dispersed in Zn crystal grains. The highly corrosion-resistant hot-dip plating steel sheet has alternatively such a galvanized layer on the surface of the steel sheet as to comprise 0.05-3% Mg, 0.1-2% Al, 0.5-20% Sn and the balance Zn with unavoidable impurities. The galvanized layer has Mg<SB>2</SB>Sn dispersed in Zn crystal grains. Furthermore, the hot-dip plating steel sheet may have a Ni-Al-Fe-Zn alloy layer as the underlayer of the hot-dipped layers.
