PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simultaneously performing running-in with coating by performing the plasma coating in a sliding manner at the site by using plasma generated in a space between sliding surfaces of an actual machine, and a technology of performing the coating while a tangential force is constantly applied to a thin film by friction or sliding, generating orientation of a structure in the film by the tangential force, and coating a film of very high wear resistance and excellent lubricity. SOLUTION: In the tribo-micro-plasma coating method, tribo-micro-plasma is generated between a sliding body and a rotating body by applying friction or sliding, and a film formed of at least a part of a substance to constitute the sliding body or the rotating body is deposited on one of or both of the sliding body and the rotating body.
