<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform multiple recording of data in high recording density without decreasing stability of an apparatus for multiple recording of data by using reference light having irregular wavefront. <P>SOLUTION: When data as interference fringes of recording light 100 and reference light 200 in speckles is subjected to random phase shift multiple recording by operating a spindle motor 24 and shifting a recording area of a hologram recording medium 12 little by little in parallel, the wavefront of the reference light 200 is varied by rotating a random phase object 16 to perform multiple recording of the data in one recording area in each shift. Stability of the apparatus and high-density recording can be realized by compensating decrease in the multiplicity of data, which occurs when the shift selectivity during the random phase shift multiple recording is desensitized to improve stability of the apparatus, by the combination with multiple recording of the data by rotating the random phase object 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
