<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which attains a doublesided two-sheet printing from one-sided documents, without newly using recording a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The reading of all documents to be printed is finished. If the number of read documents is, for example, four, documents 41 and 42 consisting of the two sheets of paper and documents 43 and 44 consisting of the two sheets of paper are each regarded as one set. The contents A of print on one side of the document 41 is printed on the other side of the document 42 whereas the contents B of print on one side of the document 42 is printed on the other side of the document 41. In addition, the contents C of print on one side of the document 43 is printed on the other side of the document 44 whereas the contents D of print on the one side of the document 44 is printed on the other side of the document 43. This eliminates the need for recording paper used for both-sided prints on the two sheets paper, prevents recording paper from being wasted, and saves recording paper. Further, since processing for both-sided prints on the two sheets of paper is performed by a printing control part, operations by a user is reduced and, therefore, a user-friendly printer is realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
