<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag lid structure which eliminates the need to apply a seal tape between a core material and a resin door member and to prevent leakage of a foaming material. <P>SOLUTION: In this air bag lid structure, a resin door member 9 is mounted in an opening 8 formed in a core material 6, and a foaming layer 7 is formed in intimate contact between the core material 6 and the resin door member 9 and a skin 5. A seal seat 31 is formed in the peripheral part of the opening 8 in the inner face of the core material 6, and, at the same time, a seal lip part 33, which can be brought to intimate contact with the seal seat 31 through a resin hinge part 32 is formed in the outer peripheral part of the resin door member 9, whereby self-sealing can be realized between the seal lip part 33 and the seal seat 31 by the foaming pressure of the foaming material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
