摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database merging technique useful for advertisement media planning of a multimedia viewpoint. <P>SOLUTION: A distance calculating part 36 calculates a distance parameter indicating similarity of each donor sample of a donor side database, and each recipient sample of a recipient side database. A matching part 38 matches a donor sample with a recipient sample on the basis of the distance parameter. The matching part 38 carries out a distance order matching process of matching a donor sample with a recipient sample in an order of shorter distance while following a sample weight setting responding to a difference of the numbers of samples of both databases.
