COMPOSITION INCLUDING sHSPs FOR PREVENTING PROTEIN DEGRADATION AND 2-DIMENSIONAL GEL ELECTROPHORESIS METHOD USING sHSPs

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for preventing protein degradation and a composition for 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis which enables to prevent protein degradation and obtain gel having more spots, and to provide a 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis method which enables to prevent protein degradation and obtain gel having more spots.

SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition for preventing protein degradation which is characterized by including a effective amount of sHSPs, and a composition for 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis which is characterized by including a effective amount of sHSPs. The present invention also provides a 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis method for a mixture of proteins which is characterized such that sHSPs are added to the mixture of proteins to obtain gel having more spots by preventing protein degradation before performing cataphoresis, and a proteome analysis method by 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis using the composition.
