<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suture having a needle which can plant the suture and the ligature section of the suture without requiring an incision by a scalpel or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The maximum flat ratio of the width w to the thickness t of the gripping part 12b of at least one round needle 12 of this suture having the needle is set to be 1:3.5 to 4.0.
