<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of a charging situation of an electric double-layer capacitor, in a charging device for an electric double-layer capacitor device which is equipped with a plurality of electric double-layer capacitors serialized. <P>SOLUTION: This is a charging device for the electric double-layer capacitors which is equipped with a plurality of electric double-layer capacitors (21-2N) connected in series. The device is equipped with bypass circuits (52) which are connected to each of the above electric double-layer, a drive means (drive circuit 58) which monitors the charge situation of the above electric double-layer capacitor and keeps the charge, opening the above bypass circuits until all of the above electric double-layer capacitors reach the specified charge, and closes the above bypass circuits in case that all of the above electric double-layer capacitors reach the specified charge, and information means (photo couplers 101-10N) which inform the user of the charging situation of the above electric double-layer capacitors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
