<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment-friendly compost fermentation heat power generating method and device. <P>SOLUTION: Aqueous ammonia 20 passing through a heat absorption exchanging part 40 provided in storage 30 is vaporized by fermentation heat generated from compost T stored in the storage 30 to obtain aqueous ammonia gas 20A. By turning the aqueous ammonia 20 into the gaseous ammonia 20A, atmospheric pressure in the heat absorption exchanging part 40 is increased.
