PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a change of a threshold current due to an operating temperature of a laser diode and to materialize a quick response of the laser diode independently of the performance of an output adjuster of a current supply source. SOLUTION: A current required for a predetermined amount of a light emission has been previously supplied to the laser diode, and a part of a current supplied is bypassed by an amount corresponding to the operating temperature by switching ON/OFF.
