PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring clutch capable of preventing occurrence of noise, preventing delay in response speed, and improving durability. SOLUTION: In this spring clutch in which a coil spring 4 as a power transmission member is arranged between an input shaft 1 and an output shaft 2, a recessed part 5 is formed in a part where an inside diameter face 4A of the coil spring, an outside diameter face 1A of the input shaft, and an outside diameter face 2A of the output shaft come into contact mutually.
