PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine having a turbine generator for regenerating energy while properly limiting engine output. SOLUTION: In a region where the limitation of the output of the engine 1 is performed, the turbine generator (turbocharger 11 with electric motor) performs a regenerative operation to limit the engine output and the regenerative operation.
