PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive guide cover for a card connector which is used for an easily portable, large capacity compact card-shaped information storage medium such as a PC (Personal Computer) card, a compact flash memory card, an SD card and a memory stick and has excellent heat radiation properties. SOLUTION: The guide cover for a card connector is made of nickel silver consisting of a copper alloy having an electrical conductivity of≥5%, an average crystal grain size after annealing at 400°C for 5 hr in a state before press working of≤4μm, a standard deviation of the crystal grain sizes of≤1/3 of the average crystal grain size, and a difference between the tensile strength and 0.2% proof stress of the copper alloy strip subjected to cold rolling of≤40 MPa.
