PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dendron compound becoming a raw material for a metal complex dendrimer easily dissolvable with an organic solvent, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This dendron compound is expressed by the formula (wherein, R1, R2are each H or a 1-8C alkyl and R1, R2are each the same or different; and X is a halogen), and a method for producing the same is also provided.
