PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous hair setting agent capable of preventing flaking occurring in the case of imparting a hard set by using an acrylic polymer. SOLUTION: This aqueous hair setting agent contains 0.7-1.5 wt. % acrylic polymer based on the total weight and glycerol by (4.5-7.7) : 1 (weight ratio) of the glycerol to the acrylic polymer.
