PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a well balanced mounting structure of a tandem footrest capable of preventing the occurrence of local wear or shifting. SOLUTION: A shaft hole 31b is provided to the base part 31a of the tandem footrest 31, allowing a bolt 34 to pass therethrough. Then, the opposite end parts of the bolt 34 are supported with a bracket 33, connecting the tandem footrest 31 to the car body side via the bolt 34. The tandem footrest 31 is allowed to be rotated with the bracket 33 between the states where the tandem footrest 31 protrudes in the lateral direction of the car body and the tandem footrest 31 is arranged along the car body. One side of the bolt 34 is provided with a spring 42 to energize the tandem footrest 31 to the other side of the bracket 33, generating a frictional force against the rotation of the tandem footrest 31. Both sides of the spring 42 are provided with washers 41, 43, and a cylindrical collar 38 is arranged between the outer peripheral face of the bolt 34 and the peripheral face of the axis hole 31b.
