<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate power with a piezoelectric element without relying on the direction of external vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric generator 1 is provided with a vibrator 2 composed of a rod-like beam 7 and an impact body 8 such as a steel ball. An impact body 8 is fixed to one end of the beam 7, while a stage 4 is fixed to the other end of the beam 7, and a cylindrical piezoelectric element 3 is provided around the impact body 8. When the stage 4 vibrates under an external vibration, the vibrator 2 vibrates in synchronism with an arbitrary vibration in radial direction of the stage 4, and the impact body 8 of the vibrator 2 hits the inner surface of the cylindrical piezoelectric element 3, resulting in distortion allowing the piezoelectric element 3 to generate power.
