<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium by which signals of high recording density can be accurately reproduced without complicating the constitution of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: Each of lands 21 having a projecting shape and each of grooves 22 having a recessed shape are alternatively formed in the radius direction on a disk like substrate 101. An inner peripheral side side wall 23b and outer peripheral side side wall 23a when viewed from the land 21 are formed at an angle θ<SB>1</SB>and at an angle θ<SB>2</SB>to the normal of the a principal surface 101' of the substrate, respectively. The angles θ<SB>1</SB>and θ<SB>2</SB>have a relation of θ<SB>1</SB>>θ<SB>2</SB>, so that a side wall 23b at the inner peripheral side has a slope gentler than that of the side wall 23a at the outer peripheral side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
