<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transmission characteristic of a high-speed signal in relation to a cable connector for balanced transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The cable 20 for balanced transmission is directly connected to a plug assembly 60. The plug assembly 60 is structured such that paired first and second signal contacts 70-1 and 70-2 and a plate-like ground contact 80 are incorporated in a block body 61 of a mold component by being alternately arranged side by side. The rear end of the ground contact 80 is extended to the rear side relative to rear ends of the signal contacts 70-1 and 70-2. First and second signal wires 23-1 and 23-2 of the cable 20, and a drain wire 25 thereof are soldered to signal wire connection parts 72-1 and 72-2, and a drain wire connection part 83, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
