<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid call charging system by which a date and a place for prepaying call charge by a user and video information of the user are searched afterward within a prescribed period and high crime preventing property is provided, and to provide its charging method. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: a prepaid account database 2; and a service controller 3 for receiving prepaid information 12 consisting of a user's portable telephone number 13 and prepaid charge 14 to be transmitted from a charging information input terminal via a communication line 1 and of identification information 15 of the charging information input terminal, determining propriety of service provision, based on the prepaid information 12, allowing a date code concerning the transmission/reception of the prepaid information 12 and the prepaid information 12 to be made into segment, so as to record them in the prepaid account database 2, when provision permission is determined as a result, and transmitting a service provision permission code to the charging information input terminal (e.g., a cash register 9 or an ATM 22) via the communication line 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
