<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which can be practiced even in a photographic minilaboratory and can reduce environmental load, cost, and work concerning a treatment of a liquid photographic waste and to provide a method for recycling a liquid photographic waste. <P>SOLUTION: The fertilizer is obtained by chemically oxidizing a liquid photographic waste and optionally adjusting component concentrations. In a desirable embodiment, the fertilizer is obtained by chemically oxidizing a liquid photographic waste from which silver and a halide have been removed.
