<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit with an SFR composed so as to save on necessary address space. <P>SOLUTION: A function code register 11 stores a value designating one of a plurality of timers 10-0 to 10-n. When values are written in count registers 12 and 13, and a mode register 14, the value is set in a timer designated by the function code register 11.
