<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code indication method by which even a person without knowledge of a music score can visually memorize the score as a pattern. <P>SOLUTION: Configuration notes for one octave of a keyboard are circularly arranged in series and indicated on an area α. At an outer periphery side of the area α, an area β which directs code configuration notes out of the configuration notes for one octave of the keyboard is formed and the code configuration notes are distinguished from the other configuration notes by the pattern of the direction. An area γ which directs the lowest note and indicates a turning shape is formed at an inner periphery side of the area α. An area δ indicates a code name.
