<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face protector for Kendo with enhanced safety while succeeding the traditional cultural property of Kendo, etc. materialized in a conventional face protector, without giving physical disorder or unrest to a user. <P>SOLUTION: The face protector for Kendo comprises a pedestal formed in the shape of the outline of a face, a face protection metal for protecting the face of the user wearing the protector comprising a metal reinforcing wire extending from the central upper part to the lower part of the pedestal and a plurality of horizontal wires extended in the left/right directions of the pedestal at prescribed intervals, a face pad attached to the face protection metal for covering and protecting the top and sides of the head of the user wearing the protector, a neck pad attached to the lower part of the face protection metal for protecting the neck of the user, and a transparent protector body attached to an opening formed by notching a part of the horizontal wires or notching a part of the metal reinforcing wire and the horizontal wires in front of the eyes of the user in the face protection metal.
