PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a session relaying apparatus for carrying out relaying processing between sessions at high speed. SOLUTION: The session relaying apparatus for relaying data attended with processing of a transport layer or over between a session for a transmission terminal and a session for a reception terminal to realize communication between transmission / reception terminals, is constituted of: a storage section for storing a packet; a network input section; a reception protocol processing section; a transmission protocol processing section; and a network output section, wherein the network input section receives the packet from a network and stores packet data into the storage section, the reception protocol processing section executes reception processing for data at the stored position, the transmission protocol processing section executes transmission processing for the data at the stored position, and the network output section reads the data from the stored position and outputs the data.
