<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer container, which retains the properties of a conventional multilayer container, such as a gas barrier property, and has a superior impact separation resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The multilayer container is formed through a coinjection draw/blow molding process, and consists of a layer of thermoplastic polyester (A) and a layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition (B). The ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition (B) contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, which has an ethylene content of 5-60 mol% and is saponified at a saponification ratio of 90% or more, and a chloride, or an oxide, or a hydroxide of at least one kind of metal selected from the group consisting of zinc, nickel, iron, chromium vanadium, calcium, and magnesium. The content of the metal chloride, metal oxide, or metal hydroxide in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition (B) is equivalent to 0.001 to 1 wt%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
