<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an electronic circuit device onto one outer surface, particularly onto back surface, of a book-like document. <P>SOLUTION: According to the method and the apparatus for attaching one electronic circuit device (14) to a book-like document (2), particularly to a certification document, after the book-like document (2) having at least one front outer surface and one back outer surface (4 and 6) is manufactured, the electronic circuit device (14) is attached to one outer surface, particularly to the back outer surface (6) of the book-like document (2).
