<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a high production yield and a method for manufacturing the display device. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with a plurality of storage capacitor elements 23, 24 and a plurality of pixel electrodes 21 respectively connected to the plurality of storage capacitor elements. The plurality of storage capacitor elements 23, 24 and the plurality of pixel electrodes 21 are respectively connected to a plurality of disconnectable first and second connection wires 44, 45.
