PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a roller for carrying paper of light weight while achieving excellent work precision, and an image forming device using the roller. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the roller for carrying paper, a resin layer 3 is formed on the outer circumference of a roller main body 2 in the form of a pipe for a roller shaft 1, bearings 4 of resin are provided at both end parts. After the bearings 4 are fitted into both end parts of the roller shaft 1, a part 51 of a fitted-in part 5 of the bearing 4 that is protruding from the roller main body 2 is cut, and an outer circumference 61 of a bearing part 6 of the bearing 4 is cut to be aligned. An end surface of 62 of the bearing part is then chamfered by cutting, and finally, an end part 31 of the resin layer 3 of the roller shaft 1 is chamfered by cutting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
