PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for thermal transfer sheet in which the cover of the cassette can be secured rigidly to a core holder without adversely affecting the thermal transfer sheet. SOLUTION: The cassette 10 for thermal transfer sheet comprises a core holder 11 having a winding core holding section 12, a supply core holding section 13 and a coupling section 17 for coupling these holding sections 12 and 13, and covers 20 and 21 for covering respective holding sections 12 and 13. The covers 20 and 21 have openings 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d and 23e being fitted with claws 24a, 24b, 24c, 24d and 24e in order to secure the covers 20 and 21 to the core holder 11. The openings 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d and 23e of the core holder 11 are arranged near the beam members 19, 12d and 13d for reinforcing the core holder 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
