PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle which allows a passenger to easily see the scene outside the vehicle and can reduce outside noise reaching the passenger via a side window. SOLUTION: In the railway vehicle having a cross seat, the center of the side window is arranged at a substantially center position between a plurality of seats disposed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.
