The piston engine consists of a ring (1), a stator (2), two identical sliders (3,4) and a cover. The ring sits with its uncut bottom part and its ring of teeth in the concentric ring groove of the stator and can turn within it. In the radial slits on the ring sit both the sliders, which with their uppermost side close the top of the ring. The upper sides of the stator lie high enough so that the ring with the sliders can still turn in the stator when the stator is closed by a cover. The stator has engraved markings which partly fit with the outer diameter of the ring and partly form a larger diameter thereby created an intermediate space with the ring.
