<p>It is intended to provide a method of diagnosing Johne's disease by which an animal infected with Mycobacterium paratuberculosis (Johne's) can be diagnosed at a high sensitivity in the inapparent infection stage before the specific antibody level begins to increase and a large number of specimens can be treated. Namely, a method of diagnosing Johne's disease characterized by comprising collecting the blood of a subject animal, adding an anti-IL-10 antibody and a Mycobacterium paratuberculosis antigen to the collected blood followed by culturing, and then measuring the IFNgamma yield in the cultured blood; a method of diagnosing Johne's disease characterized by comprising measuring the IFNgamma yield in blood by the IFNgamma ELISA method; and a method of diagnosing mycobacteriosis characterized by comprising collecting the blood of a subject animal, adding an anti-IL-10 antibody and a Mycobacterium antigen to the collected blood followed by culturing, and then measuring the IFNgamma yield in the cultured blood.</p> |
