<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize rotating of a windmill by converting a wind force efficiently into a rotary force irrespective of a direction of a wind or a position of a plate vane receiving the wind in a Savonius type vertical shaft type wind mill. <P>SOLUTION: The vertical shaft type windmill includes a pair of the plate vanes formed in a point narrowed state and mounted at positions deviated at 90° of a phase in a circumferential direction to each other on both upper and lower surfaces of a circular frame plate disposed at a vertical rotary shaft as a center, and a ring for weighting mounted integrally with a peripheral edge of the circular frame plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
