ANTENNA MONITORING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna monitoring system capable of easily and securely monitoring the operating state of a transmission antenna installed at a height without providing a power supply cable.

SOLUTION: A passive optical modulator, which receives an electric field (electric wave) and modulates laser beams, is incorporated into the transmission antenna for broadcast or communication. The laser beams are introduced into the passive optical modulator from a monitoring device through an optical fiber. The laser beams modulated in the passive optical modulator is received through the optical fiber. The operation state of the transmission antenna is monitored from a modulation component of the received laser beams.
