<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method, device, and program for use in processing of information received by a smart card which contains and supports a user personal data profile. <P>SOLUTION: Parameters specific to individual users' personal preferences including travel related parameters and service preferences are entered and stored by the smart card. These parameters may be selectively read out and transmitted to instantaneously provide the individual's personalized data to various travel related processing systems.
